Ar-Family: Me & Mine – July

I Love my life.

I Love my family.

I Love our home.

I Love my husband.

I Love my daughter.

I Love my life!

I’m not bragging… honestly! It just occured to me while writing this post that we have a simple life and I like my simple life. I don’t wish for anything else. I don’t want any drama, I don’t want to live in a soap opera. I love going for walks, and that us both getting fillings this month has been the most dramatic thing to happen to us for a whole month.

The highlights for us both this month have been the amount of times we’ve sat watching Holly, caught each other’s eye and smiled. Holly is just incredible. 23 months is a beautiful age, she’s developing into a wonderful tiny human and we’re enjoying being part of her journey.

This month’s pictures are from a recent trip to Ingleton waterfalls, it’s a beautiful place and well worth a visit if you’re ever in North Yorkshire.

We’re looking forward to August, a trip to Wales and Holly’s 2nd Birthday celebrations!!!!!!! Our baby is two!

Here we are!

Seven months into Me & Mine, at Ingleton Waterfalls.

This month I’m sending you across to Chloe, who writes her beautiful blog over at ‘Sorry about the Mess‘. Chloe’s blog is beautiful! Full of gorgeous pictures and great writing, it’s the perfect companion for a mug of something hot and a jaffa cake. Head on over once you’ve finished here and check out her Me & Mine post this month.

Don’t forget that you too can get involved in this project! It isn’t too late. Upload a family snap to your blog and join the linky below.

Loving your words this month. I often say to Rich that our lives are beautifully boring – I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Lovely photos this month. Yay for school holidays and babies getting big! And congrats on 4 years of wedded bliss, it’s our fourth anniversary today. x

I often feel like our life is 100 miles an hour, we both work from home so sometimes it feels like the lines between work and home get blurred and you can feel like you are just working all the time. But this month I realised just how many happy family times happened in just 28 days. Luckily I got a snap of almost all of them! And the reason they are happy is because it’s just the four of us, enjoying each other’s company – magic!
Love the photos this month!

I feel exactly the same as this Becky. We are happy and I love our life. It may not be particularly glamorous and my idea of fun is going to the park with the girls or out for lunch, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Lovely photos as always. X

what a terrific place to hang out on your summer break. It’s quite nostalgic for me seeing your pics this month as it’s about 18 years since I was visited Ingleton Falls as a student in Lancaster.

What a gorgeous family you have with that flaming hair! I love a little girl who’s already sussed that chocolate rocks. She’s got the smarts!

Too true – it’s lovely to acknowledge and celebrate the every day – although that waterfall is not everyday round my part of the country, it’s just gorgeous, but little miss Holly steals the show – she is just adorable!

What a great start to the summer we’ve had – hang in there Becky & Tom – ah, the life of a wedding photographer and part time single mumma, normal service will resume soon! And it’s paying the bills, right?! Love you guys!

There’s something really lovely about the way you are holding hands in your family photo. Really great that Holly is settling into nursery – enjoy having a two year old, it’s a really fun age!

Enjoying each other’s company is just magical! I LOVE it. But I have to agree with both of us working from home a lot of the time it’s hard to find the line between home and work… just gotta keep trying I guess?
