Hello…
All good stories start at the beginning. This is probably the best place to start. Click.
I’m Becky… and this is our blog.

We started our blog in 2009, we wanted to stay in touch with our family and friends who are scattered all over the world and give them an insight into a little bit of our soul. That way we need never be too far from sharing our special moments with those we love.
What we didn’t realise was that other people might like a sneaky peek too, so our new attitude is the more the merrier, if you enjoy our rambles then stay and have a look around for a while. Share some thoughts or just have a laugh. If you like it come back.
I’m a Primary Teacher by trade, I studied in Sheffield and boy oh boy did I work hard. I loved my job, but my NQT year was the hardest year of my life. For now taking care of Holly & Tom is my sole purpose, and I guess somewhere in the back of my head when I chose my degree I wanted to do something that would benefit my future children. I think I chose quite well.
In 2009 I married my wonderful tomtom. My world was never to be the same again, he opened my eyes to fantastic food, and places and music and photos and people and blogs! I’ve never looked back since. I have to say life is pretty good, can’t complain. There are hard days and harder days, but then there are wonderful days. I’m not a liar, I won’t sit here and write a “please envy my life” section. We all have moments no-one else would wish for, but on the whole I’d say we’re in a fine and dandy place. A lovely bunch of Arbers.
I’m Tom,
Some say I only have one eye… and I can blink 5 times in a second. They say that I remember everything I see… Ok the reality is I have a useless memory, by the time I’ve walked down the stairs I have to walk up again to trick my mind into telling me what I was going down stairs for. So I take pictures to remember how amazing every part of my life is with Mrs A and now Little H. My pictures are my diary, and the 2nd part of what you might see on this blog. I shoot weddings for a living and really love capturing what’s around me. It’s the best job in the world, and I get to work from home mostly… so I have the rare privilege of spending time with my best friends.

Argkgh… (Hello I’m Holly)

I can’t write yet, but here’s the low down on me.
Born late August, weighing in a lovely 7lbs 9oz. I’m a pretty lovable character with a cube head – or so my daddy says, I’ll grown into it at some point. Until then, for me, the best is all to come!

Hello,
It must be a very frequently asked question but I wondered what is your photo gear? (camera and lens). I’m really impressed by your photos and they have this very natural touch, with no photo filters. I like photography myself, am in a club, have some old gear (Digital Canon camero 350D).
Thank you so much for your answer. I really like the design on your blog.

Hi Nathalie,
I’m very lucky that my husband is a photographer by trade. We’ve been trying out the Fuji X100 at the moment. It’s lovely! Thanks for your comment. Hope you’re still enjoying taking pictures. Send some our way so we can have a look! Becky x

Hi Becky
Product Review – Message from Brush-Baby Ltd
I wonder if you would be interested in reviewing some of our Brush-Baby products?
We manufacture and distribute dental-care products for newborns to children aged up to 6, so I think that a Chewable Toothbrush might be suitable for Holly with some Baby & Toddler Toothpaste to accompany it.
You can also check our website http://www.brushbaby.co.uk and if you are interested I will need your full postal address and for you to confirm the exact ages of your children so that I can send the appropriate products to the correct address.
Look forward to hearing from you shortly.
Regards
Marian Greally

Hi Becky,
It was lovely to meet you at the MAD Blog Awards on Friday! I hope you had a fantastic evening?
I know you had your hair done by Regis but we don’t think you came back to have your make up done by Arbonne? I wondered if you would be interested in receiving some Arbonne samples if you would you would like to review them on your blog? If so, do let me know your address and I can pop some goodies in the post for you.
Best wishes,
Pippa
